Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to lead daily transportation operations at our Howard location.

You will orchestrate drivers, vehicles, and routes, and provide real‑time problem solving to ensure every student arrives safely and on time. In this on‑site role, you will communicate with school districts, families, and internal teams, handle emergencies, and maintain route records to stay compliant with district and state requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Experience in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive operations (transportation, logistics, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations, schedule drivers, and assign vehicles to ensure full route coverage and on‑time completion.
• Communicate driving assignments to drivers and assist with routing and special service requests.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and compliance with district/state requirements; document activities and incidents.

Skills
