Job summary

The Austin Centers for Exceptional Students in West Phoenix, AZ is seeking part-time Transportation Behavioral Support Staff to help supervise and support students on 15-passenger vans.

You will de-escalate, manage behavior, and assist with driver safety using CPI protocols; training is provided. A strong commitment to students with disabilities, reliable attendance, and required certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPI certification required (or obtain within 60 days of hire).
• CPR and First Aid certification required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide active behavioral support to students during transportation.
• Use verbal de-escalation strategies and CPI techniques to prevent escalation.
• Maintain continuous supervision and ensure students remain seated with seatbelts.
