Job summary

Florence Unified School District is seeking a TSW Transition Technician to work with students in the Transition to Work program. This role involves recruiting students, gathering documents, and meeting with parents to support VR eligibility and transition planning.

Under supervision, you will disseminate information to employers, match work sites, and maintain case files while documenting student progress on the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or higher or 60 credits from an accredited institution, or passing score on paraprofessional-approved assessments.
• CPR/FA Certification if indicated for specific position
• Valid I-9 form

Responsibilities

• Assess all IEP students with age-appropriate assessments.
• Assist parents with Guardianship Forms and keeping educational rights (age 18+).
• Prepare students for testing related to transition goals (ACT/ASVAB).
• Organize field trips to job fairs and college visits with students.
