Job summary

Cincinnati Public Schools Workforce Academy Transition Intervention Specialist will use a person-centered approach to help students with disabilities craft post-secondary goals in education, employment, and independent living. You will collaborate with external partners and internal teams to support student success.

The role requires Ohio Transition to Work endorsement or progress toward it, a valid special education license, and prior transition program experience in a high school setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certificate/License.
• Transition to Work Endorsement or in process of obtaining.
• Experience in high school transition programs or related support roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement person-centered transition plans for students.
• Teach Workforce Academy curriculum and coordinate program components.
• Supervise Job Skill Trainers and Paraprofessionals with fidelity.
• Collect and interpret transition data to support post-secondary goals.
• Build and maintain partnerships with families and external agencies.
