Job summary

Daystar Academy seeks a Technology Coordinator to lead the school’s technology program, manage hardware, software, networks and cloud systems, and train staff in effective use of technology. You will collaborate with the administration, teachers and office staff to integrate technology into curricula and administrative processes.

The role requires ongoing assessment of infrastructure, budgeting, and timely upgrades to support instructional goals and safe, reliable technology access for students

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware, software and peripherals.
• LAN setup, maintenance and related networking concepts.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Procedures for installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, operation and evaluation of the school technology program.
• Identify hardware and software purchases aligned with the instructional plan and guidelines.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade hardware, software, networks and peripherals.
• Train staff on technology competencies for educational and administrative use.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers and staff to integrate technology into the program.
• Oversee inventory, budgeting and procurement for technology assets.
