Job summary

United Charter High Schools seeks a Director of Technology to lead the technology systems powering seven charter high schools plus Central Office. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on systems work to ensure reliable support for instruction, student services, enrollment, finance, HR, operations, and communications.

The candidate will set standards, document systems, manage vendors, and build sustainable tools and processes across a dynamic K-12 network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology, systems, data, or operations experience
• Experience leading technology in a multi-school environment preferred
• Strong cybersecurity and data privacy capabilities
• Ability to translate technical issues for educators and executives

Responsibilities

• Set network-wide technology strategy and standards
• Oversee cybersecurity, access governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Lead application development, dashboards, and automation
• Partner with Finance, HR, and Operations on tech-enabled processes
• Support school systems like PowerSchool, Naviance, and Google Classroom
• Manage vendors, contracts, and data governance across seven campuses
