Job summary

Summit School District in Frisco, Colorado seeks a Technology Support Specialist to provide help-desk support for students, staff, and parents. You’ll be the first point of contact for tech requests, offering timely, friendly service and clear communication.

The role covers software/hardware assistance, remote troubleshooting, device support, and documentation. You will collaborate with the IT team on projects and help maintain user accounts and inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience providing help-desk support for users
• Ability to provide clear verbal and written communication
• Familiarity with basic software/hardware troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first responder to technology requests with timely status updates.
• Respond to requests via phone, email, or in person and resolve or escalate as needed.
• Provide remote solutions for software/hardware problems and guide users step-by-step.
• Plan, direct and coordinate technology support for issues that cannot be resolved quickly.
• Create and maintain user accounts and permissions on district systems.
• Assist with technology purchasing, inventory and check-in/out.
• Assist with student device support and website-related tasks.
• Contribute to special projects and keep documentation up to date.
