Job summary

Celebree School in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a School Support Manager to help manage licensing, day-to-day operations, and family-focused services. The role supports curriculum planning, classroom coverage, events, enrollment initiatives, and executive collaboration with the Director.

The ideal candidate will have leadership and strong communication skills, experience in a preschool environment, and familiarity with early childhood policies. This position is on-site at our Texas location.

Responsibilities

• Assist with licensing and compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and company policies
• Ensure branding is followed in classrooms and throughout the school
• Support curriculum planning and classroom behavior management
• Provide friendly family tours and deliver exceptional customer service to families
• Organize and support school events and enrollment goals
• Support budgeting, inventory and supplies
• Coordinate with Director on lesson plans and schedules

Job description

Responsibilities

As an School Support Manager (SSM), you will be given the tools, resources, and training to assist the school with:

Licensing and Standards:

• Working knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards, School Employee Handbook, Parent Handbook and Operation Policies.
• Compliance with licensing and Company policies
• Help to ensure files are complete according to regulations
• Ensure branding is being followed in every classroom and throughout the school
• Foster positive and welcoming environment for families and team

School Operations:

• Support curriculum planning and classrooms behavior management.
• Support classroom coverage as needed.
• Weekly printing and reviewing of lesson plans in coordination with the Director to ensure that curriculum, enrichment and daily schedules are followed.
• Ability to drive school bus to drop/pick-up kids when needed and able to drive kids to field trips
• Knowledge of budgeting, inventory and supplies.

Customer Service:

• Focuses on delivering exceptional customer service experiences to families
• Pick up and make phone calls in a warm, friendly tone
• Must be able to provide friendly family tours
• Communicates with families in a calm demeanor
• Provides families with correct and accurate information based on licensing, brand and school policies

Events

• Ability to organize and support school events
• Able to represent the school during events in the community
• Maintain knowledge of current event in the area and advice of upcoming important events that may be beneficial for the school.
• Collaborates with the event calendar as well as with the fun calendar, maintaining families and classrooms informed once events are approved.

Enrollment & Goals:

• Works to achieve enrollment goals in coordination with the Director.

Initiative & Improvement:

• Supports and helps lead new company initiatives, policies, and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement within the school.

Physical Demands:

• Able to stand - kneel - walk - climb small steps - carry a 4 year old child - run - dive the school bus to drop and pick school age children

Personality Traits:

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to support the staff and families
• Strong organizational skills and able to problem-solve in the absence of the Director
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Ability to stay calm and composed in all situations

Skills:

• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point
• Knowledge of Conscious Discipline
• Preferred knowledge of Handwriting without Tears
• Preferred knowledge of Teaching Strategies and Tadpoles

Certification Requirements:

• Must be at least 25 years old
• Must have a minimum 3-5 years experience working in a preschool environment in administration or lead teacher role.
• Preferable CDA or degree in early childhood education or related field
