Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with communication needs in a temporary role. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized plans and help students meet educational goals.

You will develop IEP goals, monitor progress, and ensure data collection adheres to best practices, with strong clinical leadership and collaborative support from the team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in communication disorders from an ASHA-accredited program.
• ASHA CCC‑SLP or CF and eligibility for state licensure.
• Teaching certificate or ability to obtain where applicable.
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs.
• Diagnose and provide evidence-based therapy services.
• Develop IEP goals and monitor progress over time.
• Collect data and document progress for educational records.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and related service providers.
