Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and organized school speech-language pathologist to support students with communication needs.

You will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to improve communication skills, collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to create individualized treatment plans. You will develop IEP goals, monitor progress, and collect data to inform instruction and outcomes, ensuring alignment with educational goals and best practices in speech-language

Qualifications

• MA or MS in communication disorders from an accredited university recognized by ASHA.
• ASHA CCCs or CF credential.
• State SLP license or in the process of applying for one.
• Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess students to determine communication disorders and needs.
• Diagnose speech-language disorders and plan evidence-based treatment.
• Develop IEP goals and objectives and monitor progress.
• Collect data and document progress for each student.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement plans.
