Qualifications

• Must hold (or be eligible for) an M.A./M.S. in Communication Disorders recognized by ASHA.
• ASHA CCCs or CF status or CF eligibility; licensure process as applicable.
• Current state SLP license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnose communication disorders.
• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and collect data.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families.

Education

M.A. or M.S. in Communication Disorders (ASHA recognized)

ASHA CCCs or CF status / CF eligibility

State SLP license or license eligibility

• Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in Communication Disorders recognized by ASHA ASHA CCC's or CF State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License Teaching certificate (if applicable) or ability to obtain
