Job summary

Amergis Staffing seeks Speech Language Pathologists for the 2026/2027 school year in the Santa Ana, CA area. The role involves evaluating students and delivering and documenting therapy services according to each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

Responsibilities include completing evaluations, providing therapy, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with school and contract requirements. Start date is September 2026 for the 2026 school year.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and provide/document therapy services per the plan of care and physician orders.
• Document therapy sessions and progress for each student.
• Coordinate with schools and Amergis Staffing to ensure compliance with regulations.

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Speech Language Pathologists for the 2026/2027 school year in the Santa Ana, CA area.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Position Details

Pay: $3000 Weekly

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours/Week: 40 Hours Weekly

Start Date: September 2026

Length: 2026 School Year - February 2026 | Possible extension until end of school year

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required


• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.


• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice


• Current CPR if applicable
