Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services. You will evaluate students and provide therapy per the plan of care and physician orders, with careful documentation of progress.

The role requires active SLP licensure in the state of assignment; CCC-SLP is preferred and may be required by state or contract. Competitive benefits offered and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Complies with professional standards.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate as required.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations as part of the plan of care.
• Provide and document therapy services per physician orders.
• Document progress and outcomes for each student.

Job description

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
