Job summary

Judson Independent School District's Special Education department seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and deliver speech therapy services to students. The role requires a Master's degree, SBOE license, ASHA CCC, and eligibility for the Texas credentialing process.

You will conduct assessments, participate in ARD committees, develop IEPs, collaborate with staff and families, and maintain records in accordance with district and state policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university.
• Current License from the Texas SBOE for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Satisfactory fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Consult teachers and provide RtI strategies for students.
• Schedule and conduct meetings to review referral data and consent to evaluate.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations for eligibility and plan IEPs.
• Write evaluation reports and ARD committee documentation.
• Deliver speech therapy services and monitor progress.
• Develop and implement assistive technology recommendations.
• Maintain and document student records per laws and policies.
• Collaborate with staff and families to support student outcomes.
