Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a dedicated School-based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-8 students across two campuses in Bradenton, FL. This contract role is full-time (35 hours/week), starts ASAP and runs through late May, with potential for a four-day onsite schedule.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, voice, and fluency disorders; develop IEPs; and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to advance student progress.

Qualifications

• Active FL Speech-Language Pathology License required.
• CCC preferred; CFY considered.
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Onsite work across assigned schools.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-8 students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student progress.
• Document and maintain accurate records as required by state and district standards.
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and professional development.

Job description

A contract opportunity awaits a dedicated SLP eager to serve at both a middle and elementary campus in the Bradenton, FL area. You'll collaborate onsite with experienced colleagues and support diverse student populations, delivering vital services in stimulating environments.

Begin as soon as possible and continue through late May, working a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. At Buffalo Creek Middle School, you'll work closely with students across two low cognitive units and a behavior unit (approx. 50 students on your caseload with 10 additional consults). The school benefits from new, dynamic leadership and offers the potential for a four-day onsite schedule. At Prine Elementary, collaborate with a seasoned SLP and a supportive SLPA, providing therapy across intensive and integrated Preschool, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Exceptional Student Education classroomssupporting a total caseload of approximately 95 students between therapists.

Qualifications:

• Active FL Speech-Language Pathology License required
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite across assigned schools
