Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support elementary students in a California school setting. This full-time contract runs from late October 2026 through May 28, 2027, serving about 55 students weekly and collaborating with a supervising SLP.

You will implement treatment plans, collect progress data, and assist with scheduling and materials while engaging in IEP meetings and parent communication.

Qualifications

• Active California SLPA license.
• Experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred.
• Familiarity with IEPs and school workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, SLPs and staff.
• Strong communication, organization and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students under supervision of an SLP.

Job description

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work full-time with an elementary school caseload, supporting students’ communication skills and growth. This position runs from October 21, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of approximately 55 students each week.

Key Qualifications

• Active California SLPA license
• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Familiarity with elementary student needs and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Skills in collaboration with teachers, SLPs, and school staff
• Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement treatment plans and activities as designed by supervising SLP
• Collect data and document student progress toward therapy goals
• Assist with scheduling, preparation of therapy materials, and administrative tasks
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student needs with staff and families
• Maintain compliance with all relevant school and district guidelines

This contract position is 30 hours per week, which allows you to build relationships and see visible progress in a supportive school-based environment. The assignment begins in late October, and interviews are being scheduled this week for qualified applicants.
