Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders.
  • Illinois SLP license issued by IDFPR.
  • PEL license issued by Illinois State Board of Education.

Responsibilities

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Present evaluation results and propose IEP goals at meetings.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for identified disorders.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.

Job description

Soliant is seeking a versatile, PEL-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who can work with both Early Childhood and school-aged students. Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License, issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
Pay And Benefits
  • Hourly, W2 pay of $50-$55

As a School-based SLP, You Will
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
