Job summary

Invictus Classical Academy, part of Choice Schools Associates, seeks a School Social Worker to support the emotional and social development of students in Warren, MI. You will assess student needs, coordinate with families and resources, and contribute to positive behavioral supports within the school setting.

Responsibilities include conducting psycho-social assessments, collaborative case planning, and participation in IEP and related processes to ensure student success across home and school

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work required.
• Michigan certification as School Social Worker required.
• Valid social worker license (LLMSW or LMSW) issued by LARA required.

Responsibilities

• Provides social work services to students.
• Performs psycho-social assessments and offers intervention recommendations.
• Works with families, schools and communities to coordinate referrals and services.
• Participates in IEP and Child Study processes as required.
• Collaborates with school staff and community agencies on case conferences.
• Addresses student personal and emotional well-being; provides guidance and counseling.
