Job summary

Roaring Fork School District is seeking a School Social Worker to provide therapy services to students ages birth-21 across multiple schools, aligning with our mission to support students’ knowledge, skills and character.

The role reports to the Special Education Director and requires a Master's degree, Colorado licensure, and strong crisis intervention and collaboration skills; it carries full-time status with 185 working days.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college.
• Possession of or enrollment in a program to obtain a Special Service Provider license through CDE.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Colorado Driver's License.
• A minimum of one year experience in the counseling or mental health field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students birth-21 across district schools.
• Respond to student mental health crises with education, prevention, counseling and referrals.
• Develop and implement IEPs and participate in meetings.
• Coordinate communication with families, staff and external resources.
