Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring a School Social Worker for a 1.0 FTE, on-site position in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on supporting students’ social-emotional well-being through counseling, crisis support, and collaboration with school teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement, or eligibility by start date
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required
• Passion for supporting students’ mental health and well-being

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student social-emotional development.
• Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings.
• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families.
• Develop and implement intervention plans with documentation.
