Job summary

Pittsburgh Public Schools seeks a School Social Worker to provide and coordinate social services for students and families, under supervision of the School Principal and the Director of Student Support Services.

You will coordinate with families, faculty, and community agencies to support student adjustment, address crises, and promote CEIP objectives while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• MSW degree required with credentialing in PA for school social work.
• Ability to assess student needs using data and provide appropriate intervention.
• Experience coordinating services with families, school staff, and community agencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate comprehensive social work services for students and families.
• Provide group and individual counseling for at-risk students.
• Maintain confidential case documentation and service plans.
• Collaborate with Student Services and community partners to coordinate resources.
