Job summary

KIPP Colorado is seeking a Social Worker to support students’ social and emotional goals through individualized plans, counseling, and collaboration with families and staff. The role emphasizes compliance with IEP requirements and proactive engagement in school-wide initiatives.

Candidates should hold a Master's in Social Work and a Colorado Social Worker license; Spanish bilingual skills are preferred. The position involves after‑school and occasional weekend commitments within a Denver area

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Social Work (required).
• Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with a Social Worker endorsement (required).
• Spanish bilingual (preferred).
• Previous school social work experience (preferred).
• Ability to work during after‑school, evening, and weekend meetings and events at the school (required).
• Commitment to youth of diverse backgrounds.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one and small group counseling to students.
• Collaborate with school team to determine services based on IEP goals and student needs.
• Engage in RTI/problem‑solving teams and monitor student progress.
• Lead attendance and collaboration efforts with families and staff.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with school social work standards.
