Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a licensed school-based social worker to support students with social-emotional needs within special and alternative education settings.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools, and families to implement SESI’s proven counseling services, including individual and group sessions aligned with IEP goals. Qualifications

• Professional licensure, MUST BE LCSW or LPC.
• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field (mental health, psychology, counseling).
• 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with diverse students to provide individual, group, or push-in counseling per IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to implement social-emotional services.
• Develop social-emotional goals, participate in IEP meetings, and support SEL skill development.
• Complete assessments, analyze data, and contribute to functional behavior plans.
• Maintain student documentation per regulatory requirements.
