Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a licensed social worker to provide school-based counseling and behavioral support for K-12 students with special and alternative needs in the Beaufort, SC area.

The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, develops IEPs and BIPs, and uses CASE PBIS strategies to improve student outcomes. Requires master’s in social work and relevant licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field
• Professional licensure in listed areas (LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC)
• 2 years of experience with children/adolescents in school or behavior health settings

Responsibilities

• Provide individual or group counseling to students per IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs, including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete assessments and develop functional behavior plans and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management, de-escalation, and crisis techniques as needed.
• Support social-emotional learning through curricula and targeted supports.
• Conduct in-service trainings with teams and collaborate with external partners.
• Maintain student files in accordance with regulatory requirements.
