Qualifications

• Master's degree with eligibility for full approval as School Social Worker.
• Experience serving students with disabilities.
• Strong assessment background; familiarity with I-Ready Map Testing, SAT, PSAT, MStep, MiAccess.
• Ability to implement IDEA and Michigan's Special Education Rules, including MET/IEP process and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Accept responsibility for implementing the school's education and behavior program.
• Plan, organize and implement school assessments (SAT, PSAT, MStep, MiAccess).
• Collect assessment data and assist staff with interventions.
• Maintain IEPs and Behavioral Intervention Plans; ensure compliance with laws.
• Keep records compliant with state and federal special education regulations.
• Communicate openly with administration and staff; participate in multidisciplinary team activities.
