Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and PA Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential.
• Minimum two years of experience in a school setting, including internship experience.
• Valid Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances.
• Knowledge of child welfare, special education, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strong communication, case management, documentation, and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual counseling, group counseling, and social-emotional learning instruction to support student growth.
• Collaborate with families, educators, community providers, and multidisciplinary teams to remove barriers to success.
• Contribute to IEP development, progress monitoring, documentation, and data-driven intervention planning.
• Assess student risk and facilitate access to crisis intervention and emergency services when needed.
• Support staff development and participate in ongoing professional learning related to school social work and special education.
