Job summary

Whole Child Therapy, Inc. is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our school-based team serving students at a non-public school partner site in the Inland Empire.

This is a direct-service position with a 7-hour paid day and a 6.5-hour student service window, Monday through Friday on a school-year calendar. You will work under a supervising SLP, carrying a caseload of individual and small-group sessions, with prep and documentation time built into your paid day.

Qualifications

• Licensed California SLPA (or in process with anticipated issue date).
• Associate degree in SLPA or bachelor’s in CSD with SLPA field work completed.
• Current CPR certification, TB clearance, and DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance, or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with AAC encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language intervention to students individually and in small groups.
• Follow treatment plans written by the supervising SLP and implement goals.
• Collect session data and complete documentation the same day.
• Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities for AAC users.
• Coordinate with classroom staff to carry targets into the classroom.
• Maintain schedule, attendance records, and schedule makeup sessions.
