Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in California is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student success through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with teachers, families, and specialists. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEP-based plans, and provide direct and consultative therapy in group and one-on-one settings.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, an active California SLP license (or eligibility), and ASHA CCC is preferred though CFs

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • ASHA CCC preferred; CFs encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in a school environment is valuable; strong clinical skills and a passion for education are essential.
  • Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organized, flexible, and adaptable in dynamic school settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication needs.
  • Attend and participate in IEP and team meetings when required.
  • Engage in regular communication with families to facilitate carry-over strategies and foster an inclusive learning environment.
