The role emphasizes direct therapy, teamwork with educators, families, and staff, and ongoing progress monitoring. California licensure or eligibility is required, with CCC-SLP preferred and CFY encouraged.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active California state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
• CCC-SLP preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly desired.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and manage documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency challenges.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain detailed and accurate student records, progress notes, and reports.
• Offer consultation and relevant training to faculty regarding speech and language support strategies.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and professional development sessions.
• Continuously monitor and document student progress while adjusting interventions as needed.
