Job summary

Communities In Schools of South Carolina is seeking a Site Coordinator to manage CIS programs at school sites, identifying at-risk youth and coordinating Tiered interventions. You will lead a School Support team, develop the School Support Plan with Tier 1–3 supports, collect data, and report progress to leadership while engaging families and community partners.

This role requires strong collaboration with teachers, volunteers, and partners, plus travel to sites as needed and occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social services, or related field
• Two years of applicable work experience
• Experience with student data or case management systems preferred
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Sensitivity to and concern for needs of children, youth, and families
• Technologically proficient in office tech and CISDM

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of the CIS Model Student Support Standards
• Collaborate with school staff to assess needs and prioritize student supports
• Lead a School Support team to manage CIS operations at the site
• Conduct annual needs assessments to inform the School Support Plan
• Develop a comprehensive School Support Plan with Tier 1–3 interventions
• Provide case management for identified students and deliver evidence-based supports
• Collect, enter, and report student data regularly
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions quarterly
• Engage with parents/guardians of case-managed students
• Provide data-driven reports to supervisor
• Review ABC goals monthly with students
• Recruit/train community volunteers as needed
• Evaluate community partners for alignment with student needs
• Lead in securing community resources
• Participate in CIS training and staff development
• Perform other duties to support program operations
• Ability to travel and lift 20 pounds
