Job summary

Communities In Schools of South Carolina seeks a Site Coordinator to manage CIS programs at one or more school sites. You will identify needs of at-risk youth, coordinate tiered interventions, and lead a School Support Team to plan and manage all CIS operations.

You will conduct needs assessments, develop a School Support Plan with Tier 1–3 interventions, maintain student data, and report progress to your supervisor. Strong collaboration with staff and parents is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work, social services, or related field.
• 2 years of applicable work experience.
• Driver’s license in South Carolina.
• Experience with student data or case management systems preferred.
• Sensitivity to needs of children, youth, and families.
• Proficient with standard office technology including CISDM.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of the CIS Model at the school site.
• Collaborate with school staff to assess and prioritize student needs.
• Lead a School Support team and manage CIS operations at the site.
• Conduct annual needs assessments using multiple data sources.
• Develop and monitor a School Support Plan with Tier 1–3 interventions.
• Provide case management for at least 50 students with evidence-based supports.
• Collect, enter, and report student data regularly.
• Engage parents/guardians and provide timely program reports.
• Recruit, train, and manage community volunteers.
• Cultivate and evaluate community partnerships to meet student needs.
