Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Physical Therapist for a travel job in Portland, Oregon. This 13-week assignment runs 40 hours per week, with dayshift schedules, serving students in a school setting.

We partner with PediaStaff to place licensed PTs to support kiddos birth to age 5 in the Roseburg, OR area for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll receive comprehensive benefits, housing allowance, weekly pay, and clinical mentorship as part of a team-driven program.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Oregon Physical Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
• Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred; experience with children with disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assessment of children's motor abilities in natural and educational settings.
• Development of individualized intervention plans to support physical development.
• Therapy implementation to address areas of weakness and improve functional mobility.
• Environmental modifications to enhance children's participation in educational activities.
• Parent/Caregiver education to support carryover of motor skills at home.
