Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security officer at our Mountain View site to provide customer service and enforce site access and safety protocols. Anchored on a fixed shift, you will patrol buildings, monitor entrances, and report incidents to site leadership.

This role offers flexibility with the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, allowing additional shifts across multiple sites while maintaining base hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Guard card or security license preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management; report unauthorized access.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate observations to leadership.
