Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA is looking for a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer to provide reliable, customer-focused security services at a banking site. This fixed shift position offers opportunities to pick up additional hours through our scheduling platform, enabling earnings growth while you build experience with a national leader.

The role emphasizes customer service, routine patrols, access control, incident response, and documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site policies, and maintain accurate incident and patrol documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment while reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
