Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; AZPOST certification within 3 months of appointment or equivalent.
• AZPOST certification is required or must be obtained prior to appointment.
• Knowledge of federal and state statutes, ethics, public safety, and city regulations.

Aufgaben

• Patrol a designated area by vehicle or on foot to deter crime and enforce laws and regulations.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls; administer first aid/CPR and coordinate evacuations when needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, fill forms, and draw sketches/diagrams.
• Coordinate activities with other officers to execute arrests or strategies.
• Secure crime scenes, collect and preserve evidence, locate witnesses, arrest suspects, and conduct interrogations.
