Apache Junction Police Department seeks capable sworn officers to join our team in protecting life and property in Apache Junction, Arizona. Candidates will patrol, respond to calls, and conduct investigations while upholding public safety and community trust.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED and AZPOST certification within six months of appointment; prior police experience or recruitment background is preferred. A $6,000 hiring incentive is available.

Qualificações

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED and AZPOST certification within six months of appointment or have completed AZPOST Academy with certification.
• Knowledge of federal/state statutes, ethics, public safety, and local laws.
• Experience or recruitment background in law enforcement preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol a designated area by vehicle or on foot to deter crime and enforce laws.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls; administer first aid and CPR when needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and conduct interviews for investigations.
• Coordinate with officers and detectives to make arrests or implement strategies.
