Qualifications include a Bachelor's or equivalent security/law enforcement background, Illinois driver’s license, and willingness to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or formal experience in law enforcement or organizational security.
• Ten (10) years of sworn law enforcement experience in good standing OR ten (10) years active-duty military experience in a qualifying role.
• Valid State of Illinois driver's license.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends periodically.

Responsibilities

• Patrols and monitors assigned areas, including buildings, entrances, hallways, and parking lots.
• Directs students and guests and ensures only authorized individuals enter the building.
• Reports incidents using proper forms and notifies supervisor of disturbances.
• Operates security vehicles for patrols and other assignments.
• Maintains access control, radios, and safety equipment.
• Collaborates with Deans' Office to supervise students and support staff.
