Job summary

Nimble is seeking a Safety Officer to help maintain a secure learning environment across district locations. You will perform duties to ensure safety for students and staff, enforce policies, and support incident response.

Responsibilities include inspecting site security, operating detectors, writing reports, and collaborating with police and emergency personnel. A HS diploma and firearms training are expected; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one-year job related experience.
• Successful completion of a firearms training course.
• Specialized training in security procedures and the use of security equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect on-site safety officers for adherence to duties, policies and procedures.
• Tour buildings and properties to ensure doors and windows are secure.
• Operate walk-through and handheld metal detectors following protocol.
• Write comprehensive investigative reports documenting events.
• Assist during emergencies and with security at extracurricular activities.
• Transport money to bank or accompany personnel on security-related travel.
