Job summary

Nimble is seeking a Commissioned School Security Officer (CSSO) to protect school facilities in Arkansas. The role requires carrying a firearm, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a vigilant security presence to deter incidents and protect students, staff, and visitors.

The CSSO will report to the Security Director, work a 180-day contract, and participate in crisis planning and training. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and an active CSSO license; prior security or law

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active CSSO license is required.
• State Police CSSO training will be provided.
• Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Watch for security breaches and emergency situations and report them.
• Deter unauthorized access and notify police as needed.
• Maintain a visible security presence on site to ensure safety.
• Attend before and after school activities as required.
• Assist in crisis planning and staff training activities.
