Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic state and local laws and safety regulations.
• Experience in security, safety protocols and incident response.
• Ability to communicate tactfully and clearly with students, staff and parents.
• Familiarity with school policies and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enforce school rules under supervision of principal and security director.
• Supervise school grounds and ensure safe daily operations.
• Coordinate with staff on security measures and access control.
• Be the first point of contact with police during incidents.
• Provide protection of school property and deter loitering and disturbances.
• Serve as liaison with the School Resource Officer and police departments.
• Transport students to off-campus locations as needed and assist investigations.
