Job summary

Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) is seeking a School Security Assistant to support middle and high schools in maintaining a safe campus environment. The role partners with principals, Madison Police, and other agencies to enforce the conduct of students and ensure quick response to incidents.

Ideal candidates will have CPR/AED certification, a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, and experience handling crises.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining order and safety in school settings.
• Coordinate with principal and law enforcement as needed.
• Renders First Aid and supports emergency drills.
• Maintain records and reports of incidents and daily activities.
• Assist in supervision of school events and transportation safety.
