Qualifications

• Active Colorado State RN license required.
• Experience in pediatrics or school nursing is preferred.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting/background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care based on student health plans.
• Monitor student health; manage injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate health records and compliance.
• Communicate with families about health needs.
• Collaborate with school staff and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings as appropriate.
• Respond to emergencies following safety protocols.

Hello, RNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to support students in school-based settings throughout Aurora, CO. Opportunities include both 1:1 nursing and full school nurse positions. You’ll provide hands-on student care, manage health needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with school teams to support student wellness and safety.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Active Colorado State RN license
• School Nursing CDE certification or ability to obtain
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
