Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a School Nurse (RN) for Englewood, CO for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves health services in the school health room or 1:1 support, with a consistent schedule and pediatric/public health focus.

The RN will triage, administer medications, maintain health records, and collaborate with families and school staff to support student well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado State RN license.
• Colorado Department of Education School Nurse authorization or ability to obtain.
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance.
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs and updates.
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate.
• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols.
• Monitor immunization compliance and support health screenings.
