Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support students in Englewood, CO, for the 2026-2027 school year. The role may be in a health room or 1:1 setting, with a full-time 1.0 FTE schedule and a consistent school-year calendar.

Responsibilities include triage of injuries and illnesses, administering medications, maintaining health records, and collaborating with families and school staff to promote a safe, healthy learning environment.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado State RN license
• Colorado Department of Education School Nurse authorization or ability to obtain
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs and updates

• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols
• Monitor immunization compliance and support health screenings
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives
