Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a part-time School-Based Registered Behavior Technician to support students with autism spectrum disorder in a cooperative school environment in Roebuck, South Carolina. Active RBT certification with BACB or in process to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

  • Active RBT certification through the BACB required, or currently preparing for the BACB RBT exam.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents with ASD or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and classroom-based behavioral support to students.
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and interventions.
  • Support skill acquisition and positive behavior development.
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and positive support plans.
  • Collect behavioral data and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, BCBAs, and school team members.
  • Maintain accurate session documentation and records.
  • Support students’ educational, social, and behavioral goals within the school environment.
