Job summary

San Bernardino City Unified School District is seeking a part-time Recreation Leader to supervise students on campus during class breaks, lunch, and before/after school. You will monitor school grounds, parking lots, and building areas to maintain safety and orderly conduct.

Under supervision, you may assist with activity setup, bus loading/unloading, and reporting incidents. Experience with children is desirable; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School is desirable.
• Experience working with children is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students exiting/entering buses or waiting for pickup.
• Monitor students on campus during breaks and lunch periods.
• Supervise eating areas and manage lines and self-service areas.
• Enforce school rules and report potentially dangerous situations.
• Write referrals as needed and report incidents to the administrator.
• Ensure students do not leave campus without permission.
• Assist in activity set-ups and cleanup for recreational activities.
