Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted MO PT license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Copy of Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the licensing board or verification agency if required.
• Copy of current required certifications (e.g., BLS, immunizations, TB test) and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to support students’ mobility, function, and participation in school activities.
• Assess students’ physical abilities, movement needs, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to enhance students’ independence and safety.
• Assist students with mobility devices, positioning, and physical accommodations as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student goals and development.
• Monitor, document, and evaluate student progress throughout therapy services.
• Participate in assessments, meetings, and individualized education planning.
• Maintain compliance with school procedures, safety standards, and professional requirements.
