Job summary

School District 45 seeks a School Psychologist to support Stevenson and York Center Elementary Schools. One full-time position, or two part-time roles, are available.

Qualifications

  • Illinois State Certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Bachelor's degree in an education discipline applicable to the assignment.
  • Master's degree in Psychology.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and testing to inform recommendations.
  • Provide individual or group therapy and behavior modification as needed.
  • Assist with identification and placement of exceptional students.
  • Coordinate with admins and staff to assess student needs and communicate services.
  • Attend PPT meetings for students with special needs.
  • Serve as mental health consultant and conduct in-service trainings.
  • Support dropout prevention efforts.
  • Provide counseling to promote personal growth and resilience.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain accurate records and share student information as required.
