Job summary

EDU Healthcare seeks a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year in Illinois. You will diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs, providing individual and small group counseling in a school-based setting.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and monitor support plans, including IEPs, while documenting assessments and progress to meet district standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from NASP-accredited program.
• Active state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Experience working in schools or with children.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs.
• Provide individual and small group counseling services.
• Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs.
• Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions.
• Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
