Qualifications

  • Master’s degree NASP-accredited program.
  • Active state licensure/certification or ability to obtain before start.
  • Experience in schools or with children preferred.
  • Strong collaboration with educators, families, and administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs.
  • Provide individual and small group counseling services.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies including IEPs.
  • Coordinate with administrators to assess effectiveness of interventions.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with district and professional standards.
